Kermit L. Dunahoo

Kermit L. Dunahoo, the owner and supervising attorney, holds both a bachelor's degree in business and a master's degree in political science from Iowa State. He graduated with honors from Drake University Law School in 1971, where he was an editor of and author for the Drake Law Review (a student publication distributed nationally). He also was elected to the national legal honorary Order of the Coif.

He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Iowa, the federal district courts for both the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa, the Federal Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Dunahoo has practiced law in central Iowa as the owner of the Dunahoo Law Firm since 1981. He also has been a special assistant Iowa Attorney General, an assistant Polk County attorney, a law professor, and a frequent continuing legal education lecturer and author.
